"This is the quick release neck rope which serves as a lead when unsnapped at the chest. It is attached to the halter-bridle. No more tucking the lead into your saddle bags or hanging it off of your saddle. The chest snap is much easier and safer than the cavalry knot, as well as quicker in an emergency! Our police neck ropes have been provided to Mounted Law Enforcement for over twenty years.

These Police Neck ropes are made of 5/8 inch polypropelene woven rope with bronze snaps, rings and clamps. Bronze is stronger than brass, but shines the same. Each neck rope is custom sized for your mount.
